Midway Acquires Paradox Development |
Midway announced that they have acquired Paradox
Development. Paradox Development is working on Midway's
next Mortal Kombat title
Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks.

Midway Games Inc. announced today that it has acquired Paradox Development, the studio now developing Midway’s upcoming videogame, Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks. Midway acquired privately-held Paradox in an all-stock transaction for 333,334 Midway common shares. The acquisition further strengthens the Company’s internal development capabilities as it brings two talented development teams to Midway. This marks the third acquisition in recent months to bolster Midway’s high quality game development. In October, 2004 Midway acquired Austin, Texas-based Inevitable Entertainment Inc., the development studio working on Midway’s upcoming new videogame, AREA 51. In April, 2004 Midway acquired Seattle, Washington-based Surreal Software Inc., the highly accomplished video game developer behind the successful videogame, The Suffering.

Backwards Voices in MK: Deception |
|
In the Chaosrealm and the Netherrealm some people you
talk to talk backwards. Mostly it is just stupid stuff
if you play it backwards and listen to it, like "John
Vogel is a genius" or "it is in all of us". But some of
them have something interesting in them. One guy keep
repeating "Ed Boon 490, Ed Boon 490, Ed Boon 490" and "It
may be Frost is merely hibernating".
Konqrr has a bunch of video on his site of some of
the characters backwards talk, he reversed them for us.
I am working on post some of the one I have captured,
they will be in MP3 format. |

Ed Boon 490, FOV 120?? |
In the Chaosrealm one of the guy you talk to says Ed
boon 490, Ed boon 490, Ed Boon 490. You have to capture
the audio and play it backwards on your computer. I
wonder what this means and if it has anything to do with
what Ed Boon said at the MKO chat last month. Ed Boon at
the end of the chat just kept saying FOV 120. He said
this 4 times. After this John-Vogel typed: ed boon 490.
could this mean something? Here is a link to video of
the guy in the Chaosrealm saying this. The video is in
WMV format and is already reversed. Their are a bunch of
videos reversed on his site.

| November 19th is here and MK: Deception is
now available
in Europe. I would like to welcome everyone in Europe,
MK: deception is worth the wait. Now that MK: Deception is
out in most of the world, we might find out if their are
