Hidden Messages in MK:SM??
Goroliath over at MortalKombatOnline has found some cool stuff using 2 of the concept art images I posted a while back.

All through the game these symbols show up. He has deciphered them to text. It is pretty cool with what he has come up with.

This is just a couple of things thathe has found.
The symbols inscribed on the tournament victories wall in the Portal (viewable prior unlocking the Foundry) translate to "LIU KANG WILL DIR".

Three banners hanging around the Mileena arena in the Living Forest read "TOASTY". There's also another one en route to Mileena.

On one of the images if you decipher the symbols you get this text:
NDWEGNNDOPIEG
If you sorting the letters he came up with this.
NEW GOD PENDING

I think he might be on to something. Here is the link to the thread on the MKO forum.

Spike TV VGA Awards
This awards show is so fake. How the hell did King Kong win any awards? They taped the show on Friday, November 18 and King Kong was released on Nov 21, 2005, how did it win any awards? Aeon Flux won an award, it came out a day before the show was taped. In my opinion a game shouldn’t win an award if it was released to the public or out for at least a few months.

Own Mortal Kombat!!!
If you want to own Mortal Kombat, here is your chance, kinda. Acclaim Entertainment is Bankrupt and is Auctionnig off its game titles they own. If you win any of these auction you could be the owner of the publishing rights to Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat II, Simpsons, Spiderman, and of course Mary Kate & Ashley Magical Mystery Mall.

::From the inquirer article::
You'll have to move quick to see the files associated with the 200-some games up for auction. Inspections take place today, December 6th, and tomorrow, December 7th, in Oceanside, NY.

The date and location of the auction have yet to be announced, but they are accepting offers, and they assured me that it should be a good week before the auction takes place. Check here for updates.

The minimum bid looks to be $5,000 dollars, although "the gentleman handling that auction" was out of the office for the inspections, so I couldn't get a confirmation on that one. Bids must be raised by a minimum of 20% each time, so expect to pay at least $6,000 for games that already have bids.
