Nintendo Power Review MK: Deception
In the May issue of Nintendo Power, Volume 191, they review Mortal Kombat: Deception. They review every section of the game. They call it an Immortal Classic.

::From the Nintendo Power Review::
With an expanded Konquest mode, interactive arena and new hara-kiri moves, Deception is the ultimate MK experience. Hardcore fanatics will revel in the depth of content, and new gamers will be inspired to join the fan club. Furthermore, when you want a break from brawling (if you ever do!), two addictive minigames provide hours of extracurricular fun.

GamePro reviews Gamecube version of MK: Deception
GamePro.com reviewed the Gamecube version of MK: Deception. They gave it a 4.0 out of 5. They also post some images from the game.

::From the GamePro Review::
The new arenas flaunt sharp detail (look for long-lost fighters like Kintaro and Shinnok, who was incarcerated in the Dark Prison) and enable fighters to smash each other through walls and ceilings, and even into piranha-infested waters. While it's a damn shame that the GameCube doesn't support online play, the designers thoughtfully included two exclusive characters not found on the PS2 or Xbox versions.
